Track & Field
The Parkland Boys 4×100 relay team set a new record on their way to a 4×100 4A State Championship on Friday, May 17th 2024!
The Mustangs team consisting of Kobe Mack, Antwan Hughes Jr., Jaylin Bacote and Micah Walker sprinted to the finish line with an overall time of 40.66 seconds edging out Mallard Creek who finished second with a time of 40.72 seconds.
The Mustangs also broke the previous record of 40.87 set by Mallard Creek in 2023.

The Mount Tabor hurdle team won the 300m hurdles finishing with an overall time of 36.71 seconds.
Mount Tabor’s Rachel Riley, a freshman, won the pole vaulting state title with a winning height of 12 feet.
Riley would also team up with Eliza Brand, Katie McFerrin and Bronwyn Parks for the 4x800m where they would finish with a time of 9 minutes 2.7 seconds to beat runner up Cardinal Gibbons.
