Golf Team Student and Parent Information When: Our first practice will be on Thursday, September 23, 2022, after school. We will practice until 4 pm. Parents, pick up your child at Meadowlark at 4:30 in the car-rider line. Where: Tanglewood Park (practice only, student pickup will be at Meadowlark Middle) Equipment:: Clubs, collared shirts, golf shoes, or sneakers. *A few sets of clubs will be available for sharing for students who need them. Bring your clubs to Trailer 7 to drop off first thing in the morning After School Procedures: Right after school, students should come to the gym locker room to change into their practice clothes if needed(students should wear appropriate golf attire, including collared shirts). Golf shoes or sneakers are fine. Pick up your clubs from Trailer 7 Meet the rest of the team in the gym We will take an activity bus to the course, practice, and leave the course by 4:00. We will bring the bus back to Meadowlark for students to be picked up by 4:30 in the car rider parking lot. Additional Information: Students will not be allowed on the bus if they have not been approved through Dragonfly. This will be a no-cut team. First Tee of Central Carolina is setting up practices. Eventually, some players will play in matches against other schools. Typically, in the past, the top 6 boys and the top 6 girls will get to play in the matches. We do not know when these will be set up this year. We will hold a parent meeting soon when we have learned more about the expectations and goals of First Tee.
